I’ll be brief, as this evening I started Sophie’s Garden and I want to get back to it immediately! Already frogged and only on Part 1 ahhh but, more on that another time. Suffice to say, it’s proving utterly enthralling and addictive already! Love it!
Back to a long time wip that’s finally finished. I started my take on the Movie Night Cocoon Cardi by Two of Wands about 6 months ago. In fairness a few months of crochet cold turkey due to RSI held me back, but it’s still been rather a long time in the making. I got properly stuck into it again yesterday morning, and here I am dancing around in the finished piece yesterday afternoon. It made me happy, as you can see – I do love a bit of fun colour! 🙂
It’s a really nice pattern. I found it on Craftsy last year and made it in one colour at the larger recommended yarn and hook size, and I’ve had a lot of wear out of it. This time I used a lighter yarn, Scheepjes Stonewashed – gorgeous!!! – which is sport weight, and a smaller hook, 4mm. In multiple colours, which meant sooooo many ends to weave in! Plus I added a round of crab stitch (aka Reverse Single Crochet) to the cuffs – a fiddly stitch, but I love the finish (and I highly recommend Moogly’s video tutorial).
Now, back to Sophie… 🙂
